Fueling Passion For Cooking Since 1979

Nourrit la passion de la cuisine depuis 1979

Cheff Todd Perrin
Chef Todd Perrin
Celebrated Chef
Since the moment he got his first Paderno set during culinary school on PEI, Todd Perrin’s love of cooking has taken him far and wide. After chef jobs in Switzerland and the Alberta Rockies, this St. John’s native made a memorable turn on Top Chef Canada, which reinvigorated his passion for exploring Newfoundland classics. Todd returned home and restored the 18th-century Mallard Cottage near St. John’s, now one of Canada’s top food destinations — and Todd’s playground for putting his spin on local comfort food.

Tori Wesszer
Dietitian and Food Blogger
Surrounded by fresh, beautiful ingredients since her childhood in the Okanagan Valley, Tori comes from a family that revered good food. Cooking and baking with her mom and her Ukrainian grandmother from a young age, she trained as a Registered Dietitian to help people pursue good health without the gimmicks. Now as a busy mother of two young boys, Tori sees home-cooked meals as a chance to slow down and enjoy the moment — and a chance to watch her kids roll up their sleeves in the kitchen.
“As a dietitian I know that we eat for nutrition, but really it’s so much more than that. Cooking and serving food for friends and family is the very best way to bring people together.”
Claire Tansey
Writer and Recipe Expert
If Claire Tansey seems familiar, chalk it up to her twenty years as a food writer, TV and radio personality, professional recipe developer for top Canadian food brands and magazines… the list goes on. Inspiring Canadians to find their love of cooking is what Claire is all about, and it’s a passion that runs deep. That’s why no matter how busy life gets, you’ll find her in the kitchen each night with her family — cooking fresh ingredients from their favourite local farm, or just whipping up great weekday pasta.
