Got this a while ago, but I am tempted to throw it out, because it started to split and warp. And it wasn’t left in water, it was just washed and dried quickly as you’d normally do with any cutting board. Spare yourself the trouble and get something better made.

We have had ours now for 2 years this January and have had no issues if you take care of it. We use the Paderno cutting board miners oil and have had no issues. We live in Winnipeg with cold dry winters and humid summers and still have had no issues.

Gorgeous end grain maple is built to last. I oiled mine with food grade tung oil from Lee Valley. But you can use food grade mineral oil from the drug store. Oil it monthly or so and it could last for decades easily.
Because it's huge I can cut lots of stuff without it rolling off the edge.
I'm so happy with this cutting board that I got a second one.

This expensive thing broke down after a week of barely using it. We expected quality but was truly dissappointed.
