Paderno Cookware Care & Use

Before Using: Remove all labels. Hand wash all pieces in warm soapy water and one cup of vinegar to ensure that dirt and factory oils are removed. Any oil left on the pans will cause them to turn brown when heated, making the cookware difficult to clean.

Cooking Instructions: Paderno cookware distributes heat so well that most cooking can be done on a low to medium heat setting. Choose a burner that is close in diameter to the pan you are using. If cooking with gas, adjust the flame so that it does not go up the pan sides. When cooking with salt, heat liquids or foods before adding salt and stir to help dissolve salt.

* Do not use cookware over a campfire

* Do not use cookware in a microwave oven

* Do not leave empty pan on a hot burner or allow pan to boil dry.

Cooking Utensils: Metal, wood or plastic utensils may be used on stainless pans. Use of sharp edged utensils such as forks or knives is not recommended. Minor scratches will not affect the pan’s performance.

Cleaning Instructions: At the end of cooking time, let pans and covers cool gradually. Do not pour cold water into a hot pan. Wash pans thoroughly after each use. Your cookware is dishwasher safe, although as with all fine cookware, hand washing is preferable especially with non-stick frying pans. To preserve the shiny finish, cookware is best handwashed and use a stainless steel cleaner periodically.
